Christmas Photo Contest
Hey Everyone! Welcome to Our First Photo Contest Send us your best Christmas photo and the winner(s) will receive a very special St. Maria Goretti item!
Due to our long printing delay our Photo contest must be extended. We will now be accepting photo submission all the way through the month of April. We will decide the winner during the Summer and put her photo on our website and in our November 2008 issue of Saint Maria's Messenger. Can't wait to see your photos!
Contest Details:
- The photo needs to have been taken during Christmas time by you or a member of your family.
- The photo can be of anything from your Christmas decorations (lights, tree, creche), to family and friends, to winter scenes, to having fun in the snow.
- The photo can be recent or from a Christmas long been past.
- The photo needs to be crisp, have high resolution, vivid color, and be no smaller than 4x6.
- You may send photos from a film camera through the postal mail or you may send digital photos through email. If you want, you may also have your digital photos printed professionally at a photo shop and then sent through the mail.
- If you plan to send us photos from you digital camera they must be saved in JPG format!
- You may send as many photos as you like.
- We will choose our favorite photo and have it published in color in a future issue of St. Maria's Messenger. The winner will receive the prize of a special St. Maria Goretti item.
- If there are other photos that we like a lot we will give them honorable mention in our magazine and possibly award a Second Place Winner.
- Along with the photo we need the following information:
- What is the photo of
- Who took it
- When it was taken
- What is the story behind the photo
- The deadline for this contest is
February 10th, 2007April 30, 2008.
