To take the place of Saint Maria's Messenger and the SMM Webzine we have decided to take on a new way of spreading our mission. Blogging has become the modern way of communicating thoughts and ideas and it may just be the way we can communicate our mission to young ladies. However, before we can even think of beginning we need the opinion of all of you. Please answer this poll above. Thank you!

But that is not it! There is something even greater to be done before the blog can get started, which is the recruitment of some good writers! In order for the blog to capture the interest of many girls we need many girls and young ladies to write the blog! We are thinking of about six girls to start with (not including ourselves who will also be blogging, of course). We would like 3 girls between the ages of 10 and 16 and three ladies between the ages of 18 and 25, (age does not really matter so long as we reach both young girls and young ladies). Writers must be Catholic and know the Faith well, enjoy writing and can write well (good grammar, punctuation and spelling - parents always come in handy for proofreading!), and have some free time to write one blog post at least once a month. If you think you have what we are looking for please contact us and we will take it from there.

When this website first began, way back in 2003, it was designed as a place to learn more about Saint Maria’s Messenger magazine. The magazine ended in April 2009, but we did not end the website. The apostolate of Saint Maria’s Messenger was to give Catholic girls ages ten-teen a publication they could rely on for learning the Truth and a place to find wholesome entertainment. This apostolate has not been lost, we have converted the website into an online oasis for Catholic young ladies – and it is all FREE.

Even though the Saint Maria's Messenger magazine is no longer published, you can still purchase back issues, read the history of the magazine, take an inside peak, and even view its special features!
